What Fog Showed Me (Nature Knows...and so do we!)
/New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day have been sources of both fun and friendship, hope, as well as sadness and anger even. Resolutions and goals weren’t set because I didn’t stick with them. And history showed me they didn’t really work anyway.
As 2022 was coming to an end I found myself looking forward to what I would create in 2023. I had a number of things planned for closing out 2022 and stepping into 2023. As can often happen things did not unfold the way I imagined.
So on January 3rd I woke up and decided to head to nature, the river near my home, because Nature Knows!
This is what FOG shared with me:
It reminded me to stop and breathe, to slow down.
To turn inward and just BE with me.
To allow myself to open, to be a part of everything around me and just feel.
That I didn’t have to see everything clearly in this exact moment.
That the answers are within me, when I am often looking outside of me.
A different perception can show me other possibilities.
Action is not always what is needed in this moment.
To be present.
I left the river feeling alive, present in my body and tuned into my innate wisdom. Nature knew! It showed me what was already within me.
What does nature show you? What does it know?
